Arjen secretly develops a plan to build a mini-refuge and place this one, all alone, somewhere in the Italian Alps.
Finally he decides not to go through with his solo project; he comes to see that for just one man it is unachievable. Nevertheless he is determined not to let go of this plan and to seek bigger opportunities.
An active search in Italy is the result. Arjen gets in contact with various municipalities, mountain guides and the management of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
Two possible building sites surface. One location is dismissed on the spot because the altitude alone (3.500m) would provide immens logistic problems.
The other place is located in a luxurious tourist centre of the national park. Not quite the ambiance Arjen was looking for and so that location was rejected too.
Hence, Arjen is empty-handed again and it looks his dream is shattered...
But then, with the help of the City of Sarre, he finds the perfect location: the most idyllic spot near Mont Fallere.
The dream continues !
